Adobe Buzzword (word processor):

Adobe Buzzword (word processor)

Some of you might have already used Google docs to write your documents, but Adobe's Buzzword application is a class apart. Adobe Buzzword is having extremely intuitive and beautiful interface; you can place images anywhere in the document and the surrounding text automatically flows around the images. Using Adobe Buzzword you can also work on the same document with multiple authors and can track the current status of each author-whether he/she is editing the document at the same time as you are or just reading the document. Buzzword let you either edit your existing Word Documents or create new document from scratch and export them in a variety of formats including HTML and PDF.

Adobe ConnectNow:

Adobe ConnectNow

Adobe ConnectNow is a screen sharing application that lets you conduct virtual meetings or training sessions with remote members of the team from your computer. So that you can save any traffic jams or travel costs.

How Adobe ConnectNow works? - Upon signing up you are provided one unique web address. Now you can email that address to other members of your team (Maximum three members per meeting are allowed). Once your remote team logs in using their own computers, you can start a screen sharing session and whatever is on your screen will get displayed on everyone else's screen. To deliver a PowerPoint presentation on the web you can use this application.

This service also supports voice chat and video conferencing, so each of you can see the other, provided you have a web cam. The available whiteboard can be used to annotate important discussions and the drawings can also be saved for later reference.

Adobe MyFiles:

Adobe MyFiles

Imagine this like an online hard drive where you can store documents and images. Microsoft offers something similar in the form of Windows Live SkyDrive and there is also rumor about Google working on a similar solution, though we don't have details.

With Adobe MyFiles, you get 5 GB free storage space and the files stored inside MyFiles can be shared with anyone who has an email address. You might have faced trouble sending large file in email attachment, so this is the best alternative. Just upload the file to Adobe MyFiles and send the link via email. But it has limitation and do not allow to upload audio or video files.

CreatePDF:

Adobe CreatePDF

Adobe CreatePDF allows you to convert documents and images to PDF files in the browser. Here also you can find one limitation. You are allowed to convert only five documents/images to PDF and then this features gets disabled. Currently there are so many web service (example, Zamzar, Google Docs) hat let you make unlimited conversions, so this is the question why Adobe decided to put this limit.

To get started, all you need is a web browser with Flash and a free Adobe ID at acrobat.com.

Well, now even Adobe has

Well, now even Adobe has entered into the race with other players in the online office suite race. I'm not sure on how much I can really depend on this suite since it's so flash heavy needs to be downloaded. Another thing is the productivity level. While new office suites like Zoho and Google, eDeskOnline, Thinkfree being readily available I'd personally rather use any of the above mentioned office suites than use Adobe's flash dependent online office...
