Just after the Motorola MotoZine ZN5 the global launch in China last week, I had my hands on the handset and took a spin around Beijing over the weekend. It is a very good camera, perhaps not as portable as a communicator.
The sun does not shine for a moment during the two days, which is less than optimal for testing the telephone photographic capabilities, which were developed in collaboration with Kodak. Doing images is a key part of Motorola to push for the phone, which is designed to facilitate means of social communication.
To have a device that is as much a camera as it is a mobile phone was a bit of a paradigm shift for me. Since 2001, my first phone has never been anything but a smartphone, to return to a handset without a qwerty keyboard, whether physical or display generated, means a change of speeds.
