Future of internet : Firefox perspective

Mozilla Labs video about the next generation web browser :

Imagine you are in the year 3008. Most og the human beings have tansferred to mars or connected to the matrix or transformed in to pure energy. Question will rise about what will happen to the internet. The INTERNET has give rise to the whole new industry. Modern economy and the way of communication is changed. How the internet will survive without man to blindly follow the links and watch videos?

Well, Mozilla labs is explaining conceptually, Farmers in the english language will be the new "always connected", tech savvy generation.

The folowwing videos shows interview of a female farmer, who is surprisingly technology aware will communicate over web browsers and talk about graphs and such with other farmers. I am not quite sure why phones have become obsolete. But chatting and ‘collaborating’ on rainfall data seems to be the most important issue here. What will be the best features for farmers? Not robot harvesting machines, or jetpacks or magic farm crop which grow on their own. The farmers will be amazed with the ability of browsers to create graphs with tabular, structured data from websites. When no more graphs can be compared they can swipe their fingers on, what looks to be a, white iPhone and go ride tractors and other farm equipment. I hope for their safety in handling large and dangerous farm equipment, the vehicles have cruise control.

Watch in amazement. The video is described as “Aurora is a concept video exploring one possible future user experience for the Web, created by Adaptive Path as part of the Mozilla Labs concept series.”
