IPL 2008 Bangalore Royal Challengers Team

This has to be the worst team ever assembled for a T20 match. Dravid is a great player in Tests but is way out of his depth in T20 and to allow him to pick the team was a BIG mistake. He chose players like himself and really let down his fans. At least he should have consulted someone who was good at T20 cricket. Mallya's brand name has taken a beating and next year, he'll be looking for drastic changes and that should begin at the top. Rahul acceded to playing T20 only for the money. He should have known that he was unfit for this form of cricket. But, then, money is such a strong driving force.

Dravid shud step down both as a captain and a player from this IPL T20 tournament. He is more suited for the normal one day format and for test matches only. He is totally at bay unable to come up with a good performance and also fails to motivate his team. Its time that he shud step down and save his face. How could u expect to win with players like Jaffer, Dravid, Kumble and Joshi in this format of the game. Induce some young blood like Virat Kohli etc.. It would change your fortune (or atleast for the next season).

i think while bidding priety was scking mallyas cock... so hhe took all the test players and the team sucks my dick evryday wen match is held and dey r born to lose... unlike bangalore which is a vibrant city better than all the other shithole cities...this team is representing themselves not banglore.. this team represents losers not us....

I feel we must accept that RC is the worst T20 team.There is no T20 strength we can boast about.Batting.bowling or fielding everthing gets rated so low down for Royal challengers.
This kind of performance is not just an insult to the Team and the brand or the owners.It is also very humiliating to proud Bangaloreans who have otherwise excelled in everthying they have tried out.
It is high time Mr. Mallya and the management make some serious amendments or else we end up tagged as losers in cricket.
What makes us even more irritating is to see the RCs defend their losses and covering them with lame excuses.How long will they continue this.
Why can't they start thinking out of box and realise that is is T20 cricket!!! God save them ....

Ok guys, let me tell u something.... BRC was looked a very good team before the inaugural match and after that once the match has really started they haven't performed. If you see the line up you could see that there are many players who have alot of experince and can really scare the hell out of the opposition. But its 20/20 dear...you have to play players who have guts to come out of the crease and launch the ball over fence rather than showing a flat bat and hitting the ball just inches nearby your bat into the ground....like what dravid n jaffer are doing... as of now they are super flop...yes indeed a big FAILURE...

But its not over yet, they have likes of Jacks kallis, ross taylor and boucher... so if they play the below team then mallya could really start earning profits because the below team is much better than what the existing team is....

Yes only 7 players, other 4 players need to be different than what we see in the squad because no local player is playing good... they have to understand that this is 20/20 and not a test cricket wherein i think these players can prove good and efficient but certainly not in 20/20.

So my additional 2 players who should be brought into this team would be..

Rowland Barrington (Bangalore) -- good player scores very fast
Vinod Kambli -- Better player compared to the remaining guys at least...

So there are not much players in the dug out who can play fast and efficient so Id I really have to bet on any team then I wouln't bet on BRC at all...definately no ROI (Return on Investment).

So I just wana wish them good luck....

20:20 means 20 overs for each side, not 20 days for each side, if so
Dravid will play 10 days with kallis; 3 days with jaffer; 7 days partnership between jaffer and chanderpaul. No other team can bat more than one day.

first match prooved that royal chalangers are the worst among all. there performance, team players and ofcourse captain too, they can't play fast bcos they born only for test. they can stand on the crease over a month without adding any run. very poor performance.
