Story line / synopsis of Terminator Salvation (2009)
Set in post-apocalyptic 2018, John Connor (Christian Bale), the man destined to be the leader of human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators, and the future, it was raised to believe in is modified in part by the emergence of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a foreigner whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide if Marcus was sent to the future, or saved from the past. As Skynet preparing its final assault, Connor and Marcus embark on both an odyssey that takes in the heart of Skynet operations, where they find a terrible secret that May lead to the possibility of annihilation of mankind.
