With the Bachchan senior having one plan and the director of the film having another we are unaware as to how long this project will stall. Sarkar Raj is a sequel of the earlier released 'Sarkar' which will see Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles.

It was all decided that Sarkar Raj will see light come May. But if the reports doing the rounds in Bollywood circles are to be believed then the film's release is likely to be postponed yet again. It is reported that this time the film is being delayed because Big B wants a few scenes in the film to be retouched.

Insiders claim that this film will have a different look and will be polished than the original movie.

hankar’s dream project gradually becomes a political minefield, it is in this backdrop the evil forces mightier than ever, mushroom and gang up to bring down the regime of Sarkar and obliterate Shankar’s name from the political horizon.

The main attraction of the movie is that Aishwarya Rai will also be portraying a pivotal role in the movie.

She will be portraying the role of corporate honcho from London who comes to India.

Ram Gopal Verma’s sequel to the popular Sarkar is ready for release. The cast of Sarkar Raj includes Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Thus Sarkar Raj is an important film for the Bachchan’s too.

While Sarkar was inspired by Hollywood movie “The Godfather”, the sequel is said to be absolutely original. Released in 2005, Sarkar won many accolades from both popular audience and critics for impressive performances and a gripping storyline.

The movie promos are out and by the looks of it, this one promises to carry forth from where it ended in Sarkar. Aishwarya Rai who wasn’t part of the first part, Sarkar, will be essaying an important role in this one.

he sequel will focus mainly on Abhishek Bachchan and how he tries t follow his father’s footsteps.

It is just a little more wait for all Ram Gopal Verma fans who readily lapped up Sarkar. The sequel of this gripping movie, titled Sarkar Raj, is set to release in early 2008.

However, things are not what they seem to be, from shady fixers with an eye on multi-million kick-backs or wannnabe Shankars that are ready to incite millions of people against the highly controversial project in a state that is witnessing the worst of coalition politics.

Whether he will be accepted by the mass is another question.
