Little People, Big World is a reality television series produced in the United States. The series follows the six-member Roloff family where Mike Detjen is an Extended family member of the Little People, Big World Reality show who is passing away on this thursday. Ron Roloff played character of Peggy Roloff is Matt's average height parents are shown in numerous episodes.
They live a few miles from roloff Farms where Mike Detjen is a Matt's business partner, a close family friend, and soccer coach, appeared on most episodes. Matt sometimes put Mike in charge when he was away so the farm chores got completed. Amy took care of Mike after the accident that injured Mike and Jacob. On June 5, 2008, the Roloffs announced that Mike had passed away while undergoing an emergency operation to repair a torn aorta.
Michael James Detjen, a family friend of the Roloffs who often appeared on TLC's Little People, Big World reality series, died early Thursday morning at the age of 60. The Roloffs is a good friend Mike Detjen has passed away due to complications with a torn aorta. Mike Detjen is having chest pains and passing out on Wednesday evening at a Hillsboro Soccer Club meeting. He died after the surgery of torn aorta. At show time, he seemed more like a family member than a friend. We would all be lucky to have a friend as good as Mike was. He will be missed be greatly by both his fans and his loved ones. Rollof made a Detjen is survived by his two sons Tim and Jason and in lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Hillsboro Soccer Club -- an organization "Mike was the most passionate about,"The whole Little People, Big world Team is in very sadness and desolation of the Extended family member and good friend of all Mike Detjen who was rushed into emergency surgery for a torn aorta where he is passed away.

I know hard for you and Amy and kids because I lose my Great Nana on my 21st birthday, and I been crying all day on my birthday on 20/07/2007 and it's 2 years I lost my Great Nana (still fineing it hard) and I thing that you and Amy and your kids will be very sad - I know your sad time take to be happy again because you and Amy and your kids love your good friend Mike. You and Amy and your kids stil can remember the good time you and Amy and your kids have with Mike, and maybe you and Amy and your kids can be friends to Mike's kids as.

It was too soon for Mike to pass away. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Roloffs and the Detjens. It's painful when someone who's that close to you passes away but you have to look at the good side of all of this. Mike lived a rich and full life.
Remember the good times that you had with Mike because those are the memories that you have with Mike.
I can't believe he passed in
I can't believe he passed in June and we are just finding out now. Some how it's not right, we loved him as much as the Roloffs. Peace be with you all.
