The XBMC-team just have announced the 1st beta version of XBMC media center for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X (Tiger and Leopard), Linux, and Xbox, in preparation for the upcoming stable release of "Atlantis-XBMC". One important required for working of XBMC media center is OpenGL 1.4 support must be needed.
Xbmc people, cross platform streaming media solutions, announced that the first beta version (the so-called "Atlantis"), on their Media Center went live in all platforms: Linux, Mac OS X, Windows and Xbox. The first thing users will notice is a new skin "PM3.HD" and the High-Definition Keep the Project Mayhem III. The statement also mentions a "xbmc Live" and the CD, which gives users the opportunity to try out xbmc without installing a hard drive (it may also trigger flash).
